My portfolio features REAL people, not models. Nobody automatically knows what to do in front of the camera, so I’ll coach you! I’ll set up each pose and give you little tips to help you look fantastic.

Before becoming a full-time photographer, I trained for 13 years as flutist. This background helps me better understand what creative professionals and small business owners want and need in their promo imagery.

After you reach out, we’ll schedule a phone call to talk through your vision for the session and how you want to represent yourself to the world. Next, I’ll send you a contract, you send me a deposit, and we’re all set!
We’ll spend two hours together exploring Boston, chatting as if we are friends grabbing coffee. I’ll be helping you with poses as we go; I will also encourage you to find your “happy place” within those poses. I have lots of little tricks up my sleeve to help you stop thinking about the camera!
After we meet, I’ll spend two weeks curating the very best 75-100 shots to post in your online proof gallery. This gives you plenty of options, so that you can be sure you absolutely LOVE your final 15 images!
Once you’ve placed your order, the retouching magic begins! I’ll polish your images and add a little extra sparkle. We want your shots to be authentic; it’s also nice to have a little “Photoshop safety blanket” to take stress away from the day of your session!
After you receive your digital files, you’re free to use them for any creative project you can dream up. Bring your website to life, print them in your promo materials, share them on Instagram, and collect a few Facebook likes while you’re at it!

My clients are creative entrepreneurs: musicians, bloggers, designers, photographers. They bring something unique to the table and they’re excited to wake up and head to work in the morning. They believe that it’s important to hustle, and it’s equally important to kick back for a Netflix binge once in awhile.
Not at this time. I believe that your photo shoot should not be rushed — I find that when clients have time to settle into the session and get used to the camera, we’re able to create more authentic portraits. I also leave time for plenty of feedback and experimentation so that your session is a true collaborative experience. For these reasons, I only offer full-length branding sessions.
I don’t work out of a studio because I love offering the flexibility and creativity that comes with shooting on location. My office space does offer a couple of indoor options with great natural light, but it’s best used as an addition to an outdoor session.
Almost every single client warns me that they’re not “photogenic.” I’m here to tell you that they’re always wrong! 😉
Being “photogenic” is not about the shape of your face, or even what clothes you wear. It means transforming from scared and uncomfortable to confident and happy. You don’t have to know how to do that on your own — I’ll be there to coach you through posing, and pep-talk you until you look like yourself! You’ve GOT this!!
Before your session, I’ll send you a guide that’s jam-packed with clothing tips and tricks (psst – you can get early access to the guide further down this page!) If you’re extra stumped, you’re welcome to send me photos of potential outfits so that I can give you personalized guidance.
You’ll receive your proof gallery two weeks after your session date, and your finished digital files will be in your hands two weeks after that. (The total turnaround time is one month.)
