It’s been awhile since I photographed a woodwind quintet (I believe the last time was the Arabesque Winds back in 2009!) so I was really happy to do photos for The Aureus Winds. These five musicians seem like they’re best friends both inside and outside of the musical setting, which gives their group such a dynamic and fun feel. They all wore matching gold outfits, and it was great to walk the streets of downtown Rochester with them and watch people pretend not to stare!

There were SO many hysterical bloopers that I couldn’t fit all of them in this post, so check back tomorrow for a hilarious part two.
