My friendship with Ashley began online while we kept trying to find a session date that would work for both of us. In that time, I got to know her through email correspondence and Facebook, and I became SO excited for this session.

Her husband Cary is in the military, and although he just returned from deployment, he’s facing another one in the near future. I really admire Cary’s service and Ashley’s strength. She is a true super mama and somehow managed to raise an adorable two-year-old while running her own fabulous photography business.

I love photography because it helps me show people how amazing their families are, and it gives them something to hold on to and look at when life gets a little harder. I feel so lucky that this family let me in and let me show them the love that I see. The three of them are beautiful together.
