When this family suggested holding their session at Tanglewood grounds in the Berkshires, I totally jumped at the opportunity. Since I’m also a classical flutist, I have wanted to visit the festival for such a long time, and this trip was such a treat! I loved my weekend in the mountains, and listening to a BSO concert from my lawn blanket was one of the highlights of my summer.
Due to the BSO rehearsal and concert schedule, we held their session first thing in the morning, and we had the Tanglewood grounds pretty much entirely to ourselves. I couldn’t get enough of that magical golden light!! The kids had plenty of open space to run and play, and we spent a relaxed morning wandering around and playing in the dewy grass.
A few things I loved about this family:
– Mickey & Einat met when they were only 14 years old, and they’ve been together ever since! They have such an admirable partnership, and I love that they still make each other laugh.
– The two kids are simultaneously the sweetest and silliest kids you’ll ever meet. Big sis has a heart of gold, and her little bro is the clown of the family. His goofy faces cracked me up!
– They are equal parts play + snuggles, which is my favorite recipe for memorable family photos.
Thank you so much for inviting me to document your crew, Mickey and Einat! I’m so glad that you’re part of the KLP family! ♥
