I’m sending out a few flash drives to my clients this morning and I couldn’t help but share them on the blog…they are just too cute! It’s been a whole year since I incorporated these into my packaging, and I still love them.
I really love it when I get to meet high school seniors, because they blow me away with their potential and unique talents.
Miss Sydney was no exception: she’s the VP of her student council, a peer tutor for special needs kids, and a member of the National Charity League. OH, and somehow she also finds time to have a job, a social life, and get into college! She’s attending Auburn University in the fall, and I know she’s going to have an amazing time.
Sydney has a really soft-spoken grace about her, and I’m so glad she trusted me to photograph her for an evening. What a beauty, both inside and out!!
I’ve been documenting Ashley’s sweet family of three for awhile now (see last March’s bluebonnet session and another from last December). My clients quickly become my friends, which meant that I was totally THRILLED when she emailed me to say she was expecting a baby boy!
Meanwhile, her little girl continues to grow like crazy! She always reminds me just how out of shape I am, because I can never seem to run quite as fast as she does. ;) Family pictures with a mama-to-be and a toddler are quite amusing, but we managed to keep up with the speedy bee just long enough to get some adorable pictures.
And, just for fun, here’s an older session from back in August that I never got around to blogging. My goodness, how things have changed since seven months ago!
For you non-Texans, the bluebonnet is the state flower of TX. Every year, if we’re lucky to get enough rain, these magical blue flowers pop up all along the highways to create some beautiful driving scenery. And if we’re SUPER lucky, a whole field will bloom and massive amounts of picture-taking will ensue.
That’s what I found last week…PLUS one of the most adorable babies I’ve ever met, AND a beautiful little painted chair her mama brought with her. Be still my photographer heart! ;)
