the friday five: and so it begins… | rochester family photographer

As many of you know, I’m a full-time student and as much as I would love to simultaneously continue photography full-time, it’s just not possible. So, because I want to stay in touch with all you blog-loving people, I bring you the Friday Five to make up for my lack of pictures during the semester.

Things I’m currently in love with at the moment:

-ONE-

The color yellow. Because when your city is as gray as Rochester, you need a little color to brighten up your life.

-TWO-

The TV series Arrested Development. Seriously, I’ve never seen a more creative, funny show. The Bluth family might be completely crazy and dysfunctional, but they make my life seem so much less crazy in comparison!

-THREE-

Tetris. Seriously..I’m not a video or computer game player at all, but something about this game glues me to the computer for way longer than I’d like to admit. This flash version is my favorite..but use with caution…

-FOUR-

Spiderman Gummies. They’re the only reason I remember to take my vitamins every day…they’re sooo delicious and they don’t leave a gross aftertaste. Who says that you have to take old people vitamins when you’re not a kid anymore?

-FIVE-

Jason Reitman’s Up in the Air, starring George Clooney. Although it definitely wasn’t the ending I suspected, I give the movie kudos for not conforming to traditional Hollywood plot lines. Overall, an awesome movie that reflects on the current state of unemployment in the US, and our relationships (or lack of relationships) with other people. Definitely check this movie out.

AND….one Friday Fail:

The new Apple iPad. So yeah, it has a touch screen, but you might as well just get a MacBook Air…they’re almost as small, and they have way more capability.

TGIF!!
